Team Cherry recently announced upcoming updates to the latest Hollow Knight installment, a sign that the Silksong hype isn’t going away anytime soon. While I’m still working my way through the postgame act, Coosey_Goosey shared three new wonderful character builds from this incredible game – including one character that we haven’t seen built or covered on The Brothers Brick yet! They’ve also made free instructions available for all three builds, which you can download by visiting Coosey_Goosey on Rebrickable. Join us as we take a closer look at each of these buggy builds below.

Hornet is understandably one of the most popular character builds we’ve seen from Silksong, but Coosey_Goosey’s take is one of our absolute favorites. The modular technique used to shape her dress is expertly done, especially where all of the portions come together to meet the collar. Hornet’s slender figure is a key visual attribute, and the Darksaber part usage for her spindly legs works so well. Her eyes have proven to be one of the tricker aspects to capture in a build alongside her head shape, but there appears to have been no trouble here.

Lace shares the same eye technique, which helps her feel even more perfectly to scale with Hornet. Our favorite detail here is how shiny and pristine she looks, as if she came straight from The Citadel itself. The visible parts here are mostly rounded and smooth, giving her a very polished look that feels true to the game. The unique tile used in the tail end of her pin is a printed part that has only appeared in The Endurance and Corner Kiosk sets.

We’ve covered several Silksong builds from the community (view our most recent Silksong Roundup here), but we have yet to see someone build this next character: The Flea! If you’ve played the game, you’ve probably loved finding these little guys hiding around in the bug-infested corners of the world. This build is round, fluffy, and perfectly captures the dog-like smile of the cutest creatures in Pharloom. AWOOOOOOOOOO!

Thanks to Coosey_Goosey’s free instructions, I’ll be building the Flea first. Where will you start?
