2025 LEGO Advent Calendar Spoilers: Day 20 [Feature]

Our favorite holiday tradition is opening all six LEGO Advent Calendars, one day at a time, with you, our readers! Along with spoiler pics of the daily gifts, we include commentary and alternate builds to celebrate the season and creativity.

We have an all-star cast of custom minifig creators leading our Advent adventure this year. Fool’s Figures is wizarding his way through Harry Potter and Frozen calendars. ExpansionBricks is launching Star Wars and Friends. And beyondb0nes is digging into Minecraft and City. Now let’s open some doors and see what gifts are in store for today!

Fools: The Monster Book of Monsters, akin to the Acromantula, gets an adorable chibi-esc makeover.

Expansion: The monster book of monsters actually looks great, and at that scale compared to minifigs is truly terrifying!

Jake: This is my favorite of the creature builds. So cute!

Fools: This day is full of goodies, we get this really nice Christmas tree build with a very nice color gradient, a nicely decorated box, and a super cute drawing of Olaf!

Jake: Parts-wise, this is the most interesting build so far. If Frozen had more printed tiles like these throughout the calendar, I would have been a lot more fond of it.

Expansion: Is that’s an exclusive print on the box lid? This window is very charming and that tree is an interesting design that kind of begs for a green recolour of the bottom flower piece… or maybe it is just tinsel.

Jake: Agree – that flower in dark green would have been perfect and made that tree design something that would fit in many a microscale MOC.

Fools: Gingerbread man.

Jake: That’s not half-badbaked!

Bones: A small cart filled with treats, a Christmas classic. This build is really nice: lots of pieces to assemble for a calendar, beautiful colors once built, and different cakes for decoration.

Fools: This little cart reminds me of the room service scene from Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. Somebody is having a very lavish holiday!

Bones: We had the micro zombie on Day 16, and now it’s time for the minifigure. It comes equipped with the same armor as Day 17, a (magical?) purple axe, and a small build that seems to represent a rock studded with precious diamonds. A minifigure plus a tiny build for a single day, the best days!

Fools: This zombie is kitted out! Better be careful if you want those diamonds.

Expansion: “Anything from the trolly dear?”

Bones: Captain Jack Smallrow and his trusty ship!

Expansion: Dude that ship alt build is so good I thought it was an official calendar gift!

Expansion: Who gave Lego permission to make me cry? This pooch is adorable. What doesn’t mate sense is how this window is a dual-moulded dog with 2 parts plus a dog bowl, but earlier we had a window with JUST a cat. Anyway 5/5 for Pickle.

Expansion: Super battle droids are objectively epic, but with only 2.5 minifigures in this calendar so far, it stings that this this is taking up another spot 3/5

Fools: A bit lacking for a day this late in the game, I would’ve at least liked to see the return of the rocket arm.

Expansion: A return of the rocket arm would have been a Christmas miracle.

Expansion: After the clone wars, the super battle droid was repurposed as a mobile treats dispenser. Business is booming.

Jake: Pretty sure Jack Black and Lizzo had several of those droids.
